Round 33 of the Premier League has come to an end after ten action-packed matches were played. To see our original post on this EPL round, click this link.

Sunday’s matches were kicked off by West Brom hosting third place Liverpool at The Hawthorns. Despite Liverpool struggling against many teams outside of the top seven, Roberto Firmino was able to score the only goal of the match, leading them to a 1-0 away win. West Brom remain in eighth place while Liverpool keep third spot, ahead of Manchester City by two points.

WEST BROMWICH ALBION 0-1 LIVERPOOL

Roberto Firmino 46′ (0-1)

Next was the most exciting and crucial match of the week: Manchester United hosting league-leaders Chelsea at Old Trafford.

Chelsea had a bad start to the game and were a goal down within less than seven minutes due to a Marcus Rashford goal. United doubled their lead early in the second half when Ander Herrera found the back of the net after a free kick.

Both sides had a limited amount of shots and Antonio Conte’s men didn’t even get a shot on target. Many Tottenham fans were in full support of United ahead of their Super Sunday clash as a Chelsea loss could put them back on track to win the title.

They got what they wanted and now there is only a four point gap between the two title contenders.

MANCHESTER UNITED 2-0 CHELSEA

Marcus Rashord 7′ (1-0)

Ander Herrera 49′ (2-0)

Arsenal are back to winning ways with a much needed win over Middlesbrough at Riverside Stadium which places them back in sixth spot and keeps Middlesbrough deep in the relegation zone.

Alexis Sanchez put Arsenal in front again from a free kick close to half time. Alvaro Negredo managed to keep Middlesbrough in the game when he beat the keeper early in the second half. Mesut Ozil gave Arsenal the lead again in the 71st minute and the home side couldn’t get another goal back even with more shots than their opponents.

MIDDLESBROUGH 1-2 ARSENAL

Alexis Sanchez 42′ (0-1)

Alvaro Negredo 50′ (1-1)

Mesut Ozil 71′ (1-2)
