As we venture further and further into this summer’s transfer window, more and more signings are being complete. To make sure you don’t miss any of the news, we give you a brief rundown about all of the gossip.

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney will complete a free transfer by the end of the week back to former club Everton, who are also looking to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud for £20m.

United are looking to make a bid for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, with the Serie A side willing to sell the Croat for a minimum of £48m.

United will also make a final push to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata this week, but the La Liga champions will not lower their asking price of £72m.

Roma defender Antonio Rudiger arrived in London and has completed a £36m move to Chelsea.

Chelsea are considering trying to sign Paris St-Germain goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.

Manchester City have rejected Newcastle’s attempt to bring Joe Hart to the recently promoted Premier League side on a loan deal.

Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare has made a £20m bid for Watford striker Troy Deeney.

Tottenham are keen to add Everton midfielder Ross Barkley to their squad but are not willing to pay the £50m asking price.

Liverpool have made a £14.9m bid to sign 21-year-old Lyon defender Emanuel Mammana.

Juventus have offered Brazil left-back Alex Sandro £84,000 a week in an attempt to keep him. Chelsea are ready to pay £61m for the 26-year-old, in a deal that would break the transfer record for a defender.

Arsenal’s 32-year-old midfielder Santi Cazorla, who has not played for the club since October last year, may miss the entire 2017/18 season due to an ongoing Achilles problem.

Arsene Wenger has rejected Hector Bellerin’s request to leave the club. Barcelona want to re-sign the full-back in a £35m deal.

Tottenham are looking at signing Alfie Mawson from Swansea or Ben Gibson from Middlesbrough, as they are looking to sell 24-year-old centre-back Kevin Wimmer for £20m.

Sunderland are close to securing a season-long loan deal for two young Everton defenders: Tyias Browning and Brendan Galloway.

Crystal Palace are looking to sign Dutch defenders Joel Veltman and Kenny Tete from Ajax for a combined fee of around £10m.

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce hopes the signing of John Terry will help the club impress more transfer targets – as they try to sign Stoke midfielder Glenn Whelan and Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

Newcastle United are considering a summer move for Burnley striker Andre Gray whose contract talks to stay at his club have hit difficulties.
